LIVING IN THE PRESENT
"Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past." Isaiah 43:18

For some of us this is like music to your ears. Forgetting the past sounds like a good thing. You are at a place ready to start all over again. At times your past has a way of not wanting to let go. Are you finding yourself in that situation? You want to forget the past, but some of things you did in the past are haunting. I encourage you to really understand God's forgiveness in your life and start walking as a forgiven person. Pray and ask the Lord to help you forget the things God has already forgotten, because he forgave you.

Some of us brag about the things we have done in the past. That is also something to forget. Praise God for victories in your past. But realize that you cannot continue to feed yourself on the leftover of what happen Yesterday. God want you to look at a future with greater promises for you. The victories in your future needs to have you focus on that, give all your energy towards that. you cannot reach forward with your heart still in the past. Use your past to give you courage that if great things happen in your past, there is no reason why good things can't happen to you in the future.

Praise God for this word, it gives hope to the hopeless and greater strength to those looking to find God's purpose in the future. My prayer is that you will take this direction and make it real in your everyday living. AMEN
